Jamie Muskopf

Jamie Muskopf (formerly Jamie Hatch) is the Fleet Knowledge Management Officer (KMO) for the United States Pacific Fleet supporting from the headquarters of the Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet in Pearl Harbor, Hawai’i. She joined the COMPACFLT staff in July 2006 as the Lead Knowledge Management Support Specialist under contract with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and entered Navy Civil Service as the Fleet KMO (GS-14) in September 2008.

Working under the direction of the Fleet Chief Knowledge Officer (CKO), Mrs. Muskopf serves as a special assistant to the Commander and is responsible for coordinating knowledge and information management (KIM) activities for the Fleet, the COMPACFLT headquarters staff, and COMPACFLT Maritime Operations Center (MOC). She was a lead action officer in the implementation of MOC at COMPACFLT in 2007 and advisor to Admiral Robert F. Willard during the launch of Command and Control of Command and Control (C2 of C2) in 2008. She is the program manager for Fleet KM Support (COMPACFLT N01KM), which includes a technical sustainment team of 3, and a team of 7 KM Advisors (KMA) supporting the Pacific Fleet in Yokosuka, Japan, Bremerton, Washington, San Diego, California and Pearl Harbor, Hawai’i.

Mrs. Muskopf holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology with Honors and Distinction in the Major from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master of Science in Information Systems from Hawai’i Pacific University. In 2008, she was awarded the national honor of Technology Rising Star by the Women of Color in Science, Technology Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). She is a recognized expert in knowledge management, a published author, and has been a featured guest speaker on knowledge management for a variety of organizations both in and outside the Department of Defense.
